MAT HELLAS VENTILATION DUCTING S.A. specializes in manufacturing and exporting various types of Flexible Ventilation Ducting, suitable for transporting fresh air into underground mines and tunnelling projects. With more than 40 years of experience and fully integrated production capabilities, we are well positioned to meet the quality and service requirements of our customers.

MAT HELLAS is located in northwestern Greece on its own 1600 sqm site. Production is carried out with high technology specialised machinery and our production capacity is more than 1,000 metres of ducts in any diameter per day.Therefore, we can satisfy any urgent demand of our customers according to the needs of the construction site.

MAT HELLAS Ventilation Ducting Type AFR is certified with the EC-Type Examination Certificate according to European Directive 2014/34/EU for “Equipment of Protective Systems intended for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres ( ATEX )”.

MAT HELLAS Flexible Ventilation Ducting Type AFR is conformed to the requirements of the European Standards: EN ISO 80079-36:2016, EN IEC 60079-0:2018, EN 1127-2:2014, EN 50303:2000.

Due to the fact that the equipment’s intended use is for mines and it remains fuctional even if the event of rare incidents relating of equipment with an explosive atmosphere is presenting, the equipment belongs to: GROUP I CATEGORY M1. Therefore on the products is affixed the [ATEX] mark with the Group [ I ] and Category [ M1 ] in which belongs.
