Technical Characteristics

mathellas MatHellas Flexible Ventilation Ducting products are flexible, with a range of diameters and high-strength fabrics with special specifications.

MatHellas Ventilation Ducting fabric has Antistatic & FR (Flame Retardant) properties. It is manufactured from PVC-coated polyester fabric and is characterized by low weight, and high strength, whilst at the same time it remains a very pliable and easy to handle duct.

The specially developed knitted polyester fabric gives at the ducting fabric the maximum high tear resistance and it prevents small holes and cracks from growing and causing the entire duct to tear.

MatHellas Ventilation Ducting have been tested for many years in difficult underground conditions. The quality of the ducting fabric, the diameter of the duct, the section length, the coupling and the suspension system, can be adapted to the needs of any underground work.

Quality Assurance

MatHellas Flexible Ventilation Ducting Type AFR is ATEX certified, conformed with the requirements of E.C. Directive 94/9/EC

(for use in Potentiallly Explosive Atmospheres) and the requirements of the Europenean Standards: EN13463-1:2009, EN1127-1:2007, EN1127-2+A1:2008, EN50303:2000, EN15198:2007, CLC/TR50404:2003.
